My phone is wireless (batteries), wireless tools (batteries), wireless headphones (batteries), wireless doorbell (wireless), etc. Their "wireless cameras" have wires! It's terribly misleading to sell "wireless cameras" and then add a small blurb that says "ac adapters are included". What I did see were 4 electrical cords and I thought they were for people that wanted to avoid the battery costs. I was excited to get it set up but after opening the box, I didn't see any battery slots for the cameras. I bought a wireless camera because I did not want to bother with electrical cords or a/v cables hanging through my house. I had read all of their terrible reviews and despite that I bought the refurbished model because it was $75 less than a new truly wireless camera that many of my friends had raved about. I bought the "wireless" NightOwl security camera on sale as refurbished because the price was affordable. It should be noted that Costco stopped carrying this in their store. I fell for this a couple times then stopped, since they never respond Except that usually they send an email a week later asking me how Great their support was. it's all the same stuff they require when you first register the product, though they act like they don't have it. Recently tested them with the simplest question of all "which version of remote software is your most current?" Again, no response except the same thing they always do which is send an email asking for ALL my registration information again and again. Again, attempted to obtain support - Zero. Then, experienced connectivity problems with remote software for my PC. Attempted to contact Night Owl and they refused to respond. This was an extensive and expensive installation to complete, so I could not simply pull out the unit and return to Costco. It wasn't till the system was completely installed that it became apparent there is NO Audio capability. Purchased Night Owl 4 camera system from Costco. I don't ever write reviews but the person And I have never had any problems around my home since I have this system. Anyone thinking about getting a security system for a good price and outstanding support get a nightowl. Now I can check on my dog all the time plus worry free system. Thank you very much for the person that helped me. They walked me through the steps and was very understanding with me because I'm not good with computers and app on my phone. Called customer support again and the person I chated with was the most helpful customer service person I have ever delt with. Had problems getting it hooked on my phone. So I could watch my old dog when he's in the yard. So today I thought I'd hook it up to my mobile phone. I have had it running for over a year 24/7 and have had no problems with it at all. After chating with support I couldn't believe the picture. It took a bit of drilling and running the cable about 3 hours for 4 camera's only because o ran it through the attic. And ordered a night owl 8.0 4k HYBRID wired unit. I saw night owl and the cost was in my price range.
